JAMIE ROY

For over 16 years, Jamie has been in the hair biz, but in reality it’s a lifelong pursuit. In the 9th grade her family moved into a home with a hairdresser’s sink in the garage. Before long she was coloring and cutting the hair of her high school friends. Jamie went on to graduate from the Paul Mitchell School.
Working in NYC, Jamie learned the art of balayage and how to combine cut and color to create balance. From beachy & natural, to edgy geometric shapes & bold color, she feels so lucky to have found a career where she gets to connect and create all day while making people feel good.
RACHEL JONES
OWNER
Rachel has over a decade of experience behind the chair. A child of the 90’s, she learned early to love the conflux of culture, fashion and hair. Prior to cosmetology school, Rachel attended PNCA, graduating with a fine art degree in Painting.
Creativity and constantly learning are at the core of Rachel’s ethos. She loves the craft of haircutting and believes that through continued education, constant curiosity and solid technique you will always get excellent results.

STYLIST
Reese brings nearly 30 years of expertise to the hair world, with a career that began in the Northwest and flourished in Los Angeles. A pioneer in the holistic beauty movement, she specializes in organic color and holistic techniques. Reese excels in creating natural, romantic styles—think soft highlights that enhance your unique beauty. Whether sculpting precision barber cuts, textured pixie styles, or flowing renaissance locks, her dry cutting skills are unmatched.
A published author, herbalist, and wellness practitioner, Reese also owns Primrose Apothecary in Northeast Portland, where she cultivates over 60 varieties of flower essences on her urban flower farm. Her approach blends beauty with healing, inside and out.
KHIANA PHONGLUANGTHAM
JUNIOR STYLIST
With nearly 10 years behind the chair, Khiana has had the opportunity to work all over the hair industry — and loved every minute of it. Creating fuels her, whether that’s a fresh haircut, a custom color, or a styled look that makes you feel like your best self.
Hair has always been her passion, but what she truly loves about this career is the people. She loves meeting new guests, hearing your stories, and building genuine connections while bringing your vision to life. Her chair is a space where you can relax, feel heard, and leave feeling confident.
When she’s not at the salon, you’ll probably find her out for a run, thrifting for hidden gems, or trying out a new café. Khiana can’t wait to meet you and create something beautiful together!
